Digital Stories Course Arc

The PJHC Digital Stories courses – PJHC 298, 299, and 300 – offer valuable training in exploring what it means to represent and be represented and how to bear witness and advocate for those most marginalized in societies. The three one-credit courses that together comprise the Digital Stories course arc are mandatory for students using a summer internship to satisfy the minor’s service-learning requirement. Together they count as a general elective for the minor.  The courses prepare students for their internship placements, provide critical support during their summer experiences, and finally, facilitate student creations of polished digital reflections that they share at an annual fall event.

PJHC digital stories draw from photos and videos that capture aspects of the work they have done and witnessed in their service learning experiences.
