General Information

Applications and accompanying materials must be turned in by February 7, 2019. Compose your answers to the open-ended questions in a word processing program before pasting them in the text boxes below.
If you are neither a United States citizen nor a Permanent Resident, you are required to set up an appointment with an advisor in Rice University’s Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) prior to turning in your application. OISS may be reached at 713-348-6095. Students who are not US citizens take sole responsibility for ensuring that they are in compliance with all visa and travel requirements of the US.

References and Unofficial Transcript

Before the application deadline of February 7, 2019 , please deliver to Rayzor 322 or 323 a copy of your unofficial transcript, including your Fall 2018 grades, in a sealed envelope labeled with your name and “Unofficial Transcript.” If the office is closed, slide the transcript underneath the door. (The Program Administrator will confirm receipt of your unofficial transcript via an email to your Rice email address.) Provide the names and contact information for two references, one academic and one from a previous service placement.
